About

I was a very unathletic child, and even when a certain amount of athleticism became a requirement in my adult life, I never excelled. Later and with no requirement except for my own entertainment, I began and finished eleven marathons. It was a wonderful feeling of accomplishment and worth all the work to get there. The achievement gives me bragging rights forever. I don't run that far at a time anymore, but I still run for fitness which becomes ever more important as I age. I may not run a marathon again, but I remain forever a marathon runner.
Bottom line: if I can do it, anyone can. Just keep running.
