Sam Whitaker and Kendra Williams have spent years finding their way back to each other. Now, with the past finally behind them, they are ready to build the life they once thought they had lost.
But love after reconciliation brings its own challenges.
As Sam and Kendra prepare to celebrate their marriage with family and friends, they must navigate demanding careers, changing opportunities, family expectations, and the lingering lessons of the years they spent apart. Their relationship is stronger than it has ever been, but both are learning that choosing each other is not simply about making promises. It is about living those promises every day.
Surrounded by the people who have loved them through heartbreak, separation, grief, and restoration, Sam and Kendra begin discovering what it means to move forward not as two people trying to recover what was lost, but as husband and wife creating something new.
And while their own story settles into a deeper rhythm, another relationship quietly begins to unfold as Raymond and Charlene discover that friendship may have been hiding something neither of them expected.
Rooted in faith, friendship, family, romance, and second chances, Joy Still Comes is a story about the love that survives the difficult seasons, the grace that meets us when life does not unfold according to plan, and the quiet truth that even after disappointment and sorrow, joy can find its way back home.
Joy Still Comes is Book Two of The Harmony Grove Harbor Series.
