About
Jesus is not American!
He's the Savior of the World
What happens when the Church begins to look more like its culture than the Christ it claims to follow?
In Jesus Is Not American: Eradicating Nationalized Christianity, author and pastor Vernell Adams delivers a bold, timely, and thought-provoking challenge to the modern Church, confronting the dangerous intersection of faith, nationalism, political allegiance, and cultural identity.
Somewhere along the way, the lines between patriotism and worship became blurred. Political opinions began competing with biblical truth, cultural preferences became mistaken for spiritual convictions, and national identity began overshadowing Kingdom citizenship. In the process, many believers have unknowingly reshaped Jesus into a reflection of their own beliefs rather than surrendering their lives to the Christ revealed in Scripture.
Through compelling biblical insight, honest reflection, and an unapologetic call to spiritual realignment, Adams challenges readers to examine where their true allegiance lies. He reminds us that the Gospel was never intended to belong to one nation, race, political party, or culture. Jesus did not come to preserve a national identity or advance a political agenda. He came to redeem humanity.
This book is not an attack on America or a rejection of patriotism. It is an invitation to place everything-our politics, traditions, preferences, and identities-beneath the Lordship of Jesus Christ.
At its heart, Jesus Is Not American is a passionate call for the Church to move beyond division, rediscover authentic discipleship, embrace Kingdom unity, and return to its greatest assignment: revealing Christ to the world through truth, love, humility, and surrender.
Because Jesus was never meant to be the symbol of a nation. He is the Savior of the world.
It's time to put the Cross above the flag, the Kingdom above culture, and Christ above everything.
