"Here we meet two women devoted to primates and two with a passion for the sea (one devoted exclusively to it and the other concerned with the ocean and environment in general). The design is strong, with photos that truly capture these women's personalities. . . .[a] must-have series."

"Coupling interesting biographies with science content is a way for that content to come alive in the minds of students. All in all the Women in Conservation series provides an intriguing look at four women who prove that ordinary people can do extraordinary things. These trailblazing women have all taken action to make a vital difference for our planet and may serve to inspire youngsters in your classroom, too!"
