Clumsy, fearful and socially inept, James just wants to get through the day without being beaten to a pulp by the local thugs or embarrassed in public by his big, mad family. He just wants the quiet life. What he gets is a glowing blue ferret tearing up his English class. Without so much as a formal introduction, James is thrust into a world of strange magic, pointy weapons and vague prophecies. With the help of his best mate and some very dubious characters, James must learn to control his new powers, defeat the evil Hoarders and stop the dimensions of the world from collapsing. He also has to keep his extra-curricular activities from his parents, or he's dead. James Munkers: Super Freak is the first book in a fantasy adventure series for young adults.
