Astronomers slowly made sense of the cosmos by following the stars night after night. I suggest we examine human identity in a similar way. Let's examine the words individuals use to describe themselves day after day.
With this book, you'll be introduced to ipseology - a new approach to studying human selves. Ipseology is based on the idea we can learn a lot about people from their self-authored self-descriptions.
We'll compare and contrast self-descriptions from millions of people around the world. How did the words individuals chose to describe themselves change over time? How did these differ across nations?
Let's find answers to those questions and more with ipseology!
