Into the Sunlight

Her life ended in fire. Her story is buried in ashes.

When Danute Zukas, a young Lithuanian woman, is found beaten and burned in a Wiltshire ditch, the horrific crime is left unsolved. Years later, Gus Freeman's Crime Review Team takes on the cold case, determined to uncover the truth.

As they dig deeper, the team stumbles upon unsettling connections-human trafficking networks, lost connections with her family, and whispers of a cult shrouded in secrecy. The original crime scene is missing, the suspects are elusive, and the motives are as twisted as the paths they follow.

Can Gus Freeman's team piece together the fragments of a forgotten life, or will Danute's story remain buried forever?

Into the Sunlight is an unforgettable cold-case thriller that shines a light on the darkest corners of human nature.
