Life hasn't been kind to Colin Carlson, but he's much too busy focusing on work and saving up for college to care. At least that's what he tells himself. In a couple more years, he'll be able to escape his boring small town and dysfunctional family. However, plans changed when a strange man appears one day and has Colin retrieve a magical lamp. One that the stranger, Amir, claims to have a genie inside.
Of course, Colin isn't about to start believing in fairytales. Yet when he escapes Amir's clutches with the lamp, he finds himself stuck with a genie. A teenage girl genie who claims she can grant him anything he wants. This is his chance to finally redeem himself in his uncle's eyes and maybe get the attention of his crush, Nia King. However, Amir is after Colin for the lamp, and there's only one way to separate genie from master: death. With the discovery of the lamp, Colin becomes caught between the collision of two worlds.
Into the Lamp is a fantastical adventure inspired by "Aladdin" about wishes, self-discovery, and the courage to fight for a dream.
