What if you're not the problem?
What if you're just a woman in the middle of a whole lot of shit no one warned you about?
The kids, the relationships, the work, the invisible load, your changing body, their feelings, your feelings... somehow you became the one expected to hold it all together-and along the way, you learned to expect it of yourself too.
Oh, and apparently you're meant to find time for self-care. No wonder you're exhausted, and quietly asking: What the hell is wrong with me?
But what if your body, brain, relationships, history, hormones, roles, expectations and invisible load aren't separate problems to fix? What if they're all connected? And that changes what comes next.
Interconnected AF helps you zoom out and join the dots. You'll begin to see:
• what's really sitting underneath the overwhelm
• where your old rules and expectations came from
• how the different parts of your life influence each other
• what supports you, what drains you and what you're carrying simply because you learned that you should
• where you might have more choice than you realise
• plus, there's a section for your partner-so you don't have to explain all this yourself.
No new rules. No perfect formula. And definitely no extra shit to feel guilty about.
This isn't another book telling you to try harder, think more positively or squeeze more self-care into an already overloaded life. It's an invitation to get curious, to understand the woman you already are, see your whole life with more compassion and decide what-if anything-you want to do differently.
I've excluded the author biography, which follows separately on the back cover and belongs in Ingram's author biography field.
