"Five Verbs Shape Your Team's Legacy" is the second book in the Innovation Elegance series. For some organizations, structured documentation has fallen out of favor. Some organizations manage innovation work without thoughtful word choice in their formal plans. These approaches contribute to communication traffic jams, poor employee experiences, and poor project success rates.
This book explains how Five Verbs (draft, review, revise, approve, distribute) shapes a disciplined agreement factory. This factory reduces surprises, laboriousness, and latency in information sharing. The durability of the factory outputs reduces long-term costs. The right documentation, governed by Five Verbs, resembles a love letter to your future stakeholders. The portfolio you leave behind to them forms your team's legacy.
This empathy for your stakeholders, disguised as a disciplined agreement factory, is nothing short of elegance. Innovation Elegance converts chaos and cruelty into discipline and empathy through familiar activities, habits, and language. Innovators will be able to crawl, walk, or run adopting tools to shape culture, raise project success rates, and improve the employee experience.
