Things go from bad to worse when Sheriff Joshua Logan appears in her classroom and demands to know if she took a rod to his son. She's never struck any child before! How could he accuse her of such a terrible thing? Joshua realizes too late that he jumped to the wrong conclusion when his son's new teacher rushes past him, her blue eyes filled with angry tears. He calls for her to stop, but she runs out the schoolhouse door and hoists her skirt to take off down the street. Now he'll have to go after to her to apologize. Foolish young woman!
