After surviving the world beyond the portal, Kass, Jack, Gab, Harlen, Olivia, and Martin return home, the gemstone silent and the nightmare fading into memory. But peace was never meant to last.
When strange events stir the shadows once more, the six are thrust back into a reality far more dangerous than before. Portals reopen. The darkness they thought they'd escaped begins to bleed into their world-and Enkarius is far from finished.
With new friends and allies-and terrifying enemies waiting in the dark-they unravel the truth behind the portals, face off against creatures born of nightmare, and uncover the final secrets of the force that haunts them. Loyalties are tested. Love ignites-and breaks. And some have to make impossible choices. To save their world, they have to risk everything. Because this time, the fight isn't just for survival-it's for the end of all things.
