After taking on a spicy alter ego, Ava runs into her best friend's little brother and realizes he's all grown up and flying her plane. When did the boy next door become the hot pilot she was looking for? AvaDuring my annual New Year's Day brunch with my hometown besties, I finally reveal that I'm broke and have been relying on my battery-operated boyfriend for far too long. Leaning into the spirit of the new year, we all agree to take on steamy alter egos and get serious about getting laid. When I fly back home, I decide to put on my sexiest outfit and flirt with someone on my plane. Instead, I'm seated between a crying baby and a snoring retired couple. The last to leave, I walk towards the exit and the most attractive pilot I've ever seen in my life. Leaning into my alter ego, I go straight up to the hot stranger and kiss him. Everything is going better than I imagined until I realize my pilot is far from a stranger, but my best friend's brother that I haven't seen in years. This will be a holiday to remember. RafaAfter every flight, I always open up my cockpit door and greet children and other curious passengers. Tonight was different. Very different. I haven't seen her in years, but now I'm in her hometown with no place to stay and she's offered to help an old friend out by letting me crash at her place. In all the time that we've been apart, is it possible that a case of mistaken identity could be just what I needed to take us from friends to lovers?
