What is immortality and what is forever? When the ancient families send the Valknut to investigate a mysterious entity known as the Fog, they find yet another Sign. But what they find is beyond comprehension or expectation. Doubt is a killer. Young Aidan knows this best of all for his past is hidden from him and his future is even more unclear.
