Immediacy

The poems in Immediacy are contained and effective and reveal the subjects' values. Carefully phrased stanzas relate more than a plethora of descriptive paragraphs or physical spectacle and bring the reader to a shared thought, emotion, experience or imagination. The author stresses originality, richness, diversity and relevance to the reader. He accentuates the prose style with interesting abstractions and rhythms that don't overpower or distract from the subject. His focus is serious and complete within each poem.
