Being honest with ourselves and other people is hard. Trusting ourselves and that the road we're on is the right one can be even harder. We're working so damn hard to do all the things all the time for all the people we love, we forget what loving ourselves looks like. And relationships...for the love of God, is there a manual out there for how to do them right? Raw, honest, insightful and humorous, If I'm Honest is a no bullshit guide of juicy confessions and life lessons on loving ourselves, navigating our most intimate relationships and trusting we're exactly where we're supposed to be. Told through a series of confessions from the author, we hear our own stories through hers and take comfort knowing we're all just trying to figure out this complicated thing called life. From dealing with heartbreak and uncertainty in romantic relationships, to navigating the delicate fabric of friendships, to finding acceptance with aging, our bodies, and who we really are when we put down the masks we hide behind, Dina Strada encourages us to keep it real. If you're worried you're doing life wrong, falling behind, and can't figure out how to give yourself a break, this book is for you. It's a permission slip to make questionable choices, fall on your face, hit rock bottom and know you're still fabulous even when your life feels like a hot mess. Through her wit and wisdom, Dina tells it like it is, with unrelenting honesty and a big dose of love.
