(and Later Introduced Entrepreneurship And My Faith In 21 Countries)

About
Have you ever thought about how your life has taken you into places and positions that
you never imagined? That was exactly what Marlene Reed-Hislop discovered when she
recounted all the opportunities that have come to her and all the countries to which she
has gone. When she wanted an opportunity to share her academic fields with the people of
the former Soviet Union countries, she was invited to teach in the Centers for Leadership
Development in Kiev and Kharkiv, Ukraine, and Yerevan, Armenia. These Centers were
Christian-based which gave her an opportunity to share her faith with those to whom she
taught. Then later she was invited to teach at the Russian-American Christian University
in Moscow. In the Epilogue of the book, she has shared the most important things she
has learned through these ventures.
Marlene Reed has been a force for international Christian education for decades,
and this insightful look back at her many journeys abroad is a testament to her
faith, to the working of the Holy Spirit, and the power of the marketplace to
transform lives and countries. I'm deeply indebted to Dr. Reed for her mentorship
and friendship. I expect many more mountains will be climbed in high heels
because of her inspirational testimony.
