A 52-week devotional that meets grieving mothers in their profound loss, offering comfort, hope, and reassurance of God's steady presence-even now
When words fail and faith seems elusive, this Christian devotional reaches mothers who have lost a child at any stage, whether through miscarriage or later in life. No matter your experience-whether your heart aches from not being able to touch your child, or a moment of laughter leaves you guilt-ridden-you are seen and heard. Author and speaker Becky Hunt, who lost her daughter unexpectedly, provides a safe place of empathy and kinship, where grieving mothers can bring their raw emotions, find comfort in affirmations to their own unique experience, and discover how grief and faith can coexist in the darkest moments.
I Am Near offers: • Weekly devotions and daily prayers of Scripture and guidance to provide steady footing on days when even breathing feels hard. • Daily encounters with God that allow you to bring him everything you're carrying and understand that he will not let you go. • Author reflections that explore with tenderness and vulnerability the journey of life after loss. • A meaningful gift for a mother in your life navigating the loss of a child.
This book reassures that your journey is uniquely yours and that God doesn't rush you through grief or remembrance. Instead, he walks beside you and helps carry your pain as you work to rebuild your life after loss. God is near. Weekly Devotions and Daily Prayers
