How to Make a Storybook

This is an instructional book with a difference, which takes young readers step by step through the writing process from first ideas to editing to illustrating and finally compiling their very own picture book.
A useful summary page at the end of the book can be used to check children's understanding, as well as a support should they go on to make a storybook themselves.
Turquoise (Band 7) books contain paragraphs of approximately four or five sentences, supported by illustrations or photographs. Literary language and extended descriptions are used, with a wider range of unfamiliar terms.
