As the Honorary Consul of El Salvador in Utah, I got involved in the rescue mission of getting three young men out of jail. This event took place while I was experiencing a devastating divorce, so painful, that only putting all my energy in solving this case saved my sanity. This book is meant to give hope to those souls experiencing pain so great that it may be preventing them from enjoying life. It is my desire to share what I discovered about how to find joy, peace, and hope, amid the ashes of despair. Itrecounts experiences that took place mostly over a period during what had been myfavorite time of the year, the Christmas Season. I divided the book into two sections. Part One is The Tale of Two Stories, which consists of two incidents from my life. Part Two is Lessons Learned, which is self-explanatory. It is important to understand why we go through trials in life and what those hard times teach us. It's in those difficult moments when we grow most and become better people.
