If you are new to the Catholic faith or if you are experienced in it, if you are curious about Catholic worship or if you've grown too used to it, it is time for you to read this book.
Rev. Paul Turner, author, pastor, and liturgist
Archdiocese of Kansas City, Missouri
Many people have not discovered the real spirit of the liturgy or the great help that it can be to our spiritual growth. How We Worship offers a step-by-step guide to mining the richness that the liturgy offers.
Drawing from the wealth of his pastoral and liturgical experience, Fr. Mick is a trustworthy guide for Catholics today. Each chapter features questions for individual reflection or group discussion, along with a brief resource list for further reading. This book will be useful to those involved in leading worship as well as to those "in the pews" who want to deepen their Sunday-by-Sunday participation in the Mass.
Parish worship commissions, small Christian communities, and other parish groups will find How We Worship to be a very usable liturgy handbook, enabling them to deepen their understanding of the Church's worship. A very worthwhile resource!
