The music industry's exploitation of artists' creations, assets, and lives must stop. The music industry has become a feeding ground for the theft of generational wealth, and childhood dreams. Record deals have taken the place of loan-sharking, and predatory bank loans. In all actuality, organized crime's loan-sharking rackets never intended to reduce the borrower to a lifetime of destitute. They know that is not a profitable business model. And, even predatory banks only take all of your assets after you default on the loans. But, major record labels write the theft of both your current assets & future wealth directly into the record contract on day one.
In the music industry, major labels subvert both banking, and R.I.C.O. laws with fancy words like record contract, 360 deals, and artist advances.
