A thrilling, fast pasted story about fighting the paranormal through teamwork, friendship and never taking yourself too seriously. Don't you hate it when your teacher gets possessed? Not 15-year-old Mia Hamilton. Coming from a well-respected family of Smyths (a secret society of monster hunters) dealing with the paranormal came with the territory. When Link and Harris Monroe entered town and tried to become Fury food, Mia skipped class for a second time in a week to rescue them. Consequently, dear old dad laid out his worst punishment ever, partnership. While teaching the boys the rules the trio encounter many otherworldly threats. But something even stranger binds them to a fate that could be the end of life as they know it. With a strong female protagonist, House Hamilton, captures elements from across the mythical world. Think of Mia as what would happen if Dean Winchester (CW's Supernatural) and Buffy the Vampire Slayer had a baby with all the glorious sarcasm.
