First published in 1934, "Hounds" by Ivester Lloyd is a comprehensive handbook on hunting dogs, with information on their varieties and breeds, training, management, housing, diseases and ailments, and much more besides. This profusely-illustrated volume will appeal to modern rural sportspeople, and it would make for a fine addition to collections of vintage literature of this ilk. Many vintage books such as this are becoming increasingly scarce and expensive. It is with this in mind that we are republishing this volume now in a modern, high-quality edition complete with a specially commissioned new introduction on working dogs.
