First published in 1929, now public domain, ''Hitty: Her First Hundred Years'' is the classic tale told from the point-of-view of an inanimate doll named Hitty, who was constructed in the 1820s and traveled around the world, through many different owners.
From surviving storms at sea aboard a whaling ship to witnessing history through the eyes of her owners, Hitty's memoirs paint a vivid portrait of her remarkable life. Each chapter reveals her resilience, wisdom, and the enduring love she inspires in those fortunate enough to call her their own.
