His friends turned their backs on him. He was a pariah to all – except her. Mallory loved him from afar. She knew nothing about the robbery or assault, but she knew Shane couldn't be guilty. While others whispered theories and claimed to know he was no good, she firmly believed deep down, that he was a good man. Now he's out of prison, but not free of the animosity and judgment from the community. Being together proves more and more difficult when someone makes it their mission to destroy him by setting him up for a series of crimes. With everyone urging Mallory to keep her distance, her heart telling her to stay the course, and an increase in disturbing incidents, it's all she can do to remain focused and keep Shane out of prison. Will Shane and Mallory find the person who is setting him up and prove his innocence or will the challenges they face prevent them from finding their happily ever after?
