Jakob is a blue-collar worker who lives on Jupiter's ice moon, Europa. When he's not scraping Belt barnacles he's looking for a good time, so his devious co-worker sets him up on a blind date with a gorgeous woman. It seems too good to be true. The world may seem to be a smaller place than it was 100 years ago, partially because of the internet and faster travel. What happens when we expand, as a species, and there are once again vast distances between us? When Andy Stilpactrik was a child, they thought that space travel was an everyday occurrence. After the initial disappointment, Andy was determined to keep the spirit of exploration alive by reading and writing sci fi, taking accidental tours on the bus, foraging, biking and hitchhiking. Environmental conservation and respect for life in all forms are important to Andy and are recurring themes in their stories. Andy currently lives in Portland, Oregon, with many cats and assorted hominid/cryptid relatives.
