In early 1800's England, the lives of two young women change forever in an unexpected twist of deceit and betrayal. After Lady Rachel Ramsford is promised in marriage to Lord Symington - a disgusting old man - she elopes to the United States with a handsome, young officer. On the voyage, a series of events takes place that drastically affects her future.Meanwhile, Lady Edith Brekmore - her cousin - is blackmailed into taking Rachel's place. Forced to marry and produce an heir to the dangerous and powerful Lord Symington, she contrives a plan which, if discovered, would mean her certain death. The cousins begin writing letters to each other, learning of each other's lives and hardships. But can they find what hides between the lines? After I became an empty nester, I went back and finished college. All through the years stories kept racing through my thoughts until finally, I decided to stop their nagging and began to write. Telling a story that holds the reader's attention and makes them want to read more is what I strive to do.I like all kinds of genres and write in many of them. There are four Science Fantasy books, one Historical Romance/Adventure (due to be released soon), and Fly Toward Death, a fictionalized account of the Soviet Union all-women pilots during World War II. I graduated with a History major and never heard of these incredible women. I wanted the world to know about these brave, loyal, dedicated women.Currently, I live in northern Ohio and live with my delightful sister, crazy dog and finicky cat.
