A poetry collection and poetry activity book all in one! Encourages children to say hello, meet words, and find their own poetic voice!
Step inside and say hello to words. Beware! They just might talk back. You'll discover that words can be silly, serious, and even scary when you meet each poem in this collection. From ghost story legends of North Carolina to an oceanographer or word creator, you never know what the next page will hold. Maybe you'll consider a new perspective or ask questions. Maybe you'll write your own poetry and accept the writing challenges! I dare you to take a peek and not be shy. Read, write, and share your poetry today! Hello Words can help you do just that!
Jen Lowry's collection of poems will inspire poets to honor their blank pages and say hello to new possibilities. A poem is waiting to be written by YOU! All you need to do is say hello. This special collection belongs on a classroom shelf, in a homeschool library, and in the hands of families! It will make a great gift for a young poet or someone who loves to play with words! The challenges are for all ages! Will you accept?
