Heartland Humor is collection of outlandish commentaries on the small town condition. Incidents taken from every period of the author's life form the basis of this comedic autobiography.
Through his writings, Don Gadow explores his heritage and youth in a small German-Bohemian village in Southwest Minnesota and brings you to modern day Central Minnesota, a.k.a. “Big Shed Country.” In between his life in these two disparate communities comes his 21 years of high school teaching experience. He retired as a member of the Winona State University English Department.
