Sue Douglas is working her dream job as publicist for an up-and-coming rock band, traveling the world, and learning, despite her fears, how to navigate a new relationship. She's living her best life but: The bass player is still a pain in the ass The lead singer is still carrying a flame And even though the record company finally recognizes her skills, they're still throwing shade her way. And then there's Adam. Through it all, he's there, willing to take whatever pieces of time Sue can give him. He introduces her to his family, jets off to Europe to meet her on tour and shows her the sights beyond the concert stages. He makes her think that maybe she can have love in the wild life she's living. But when everything is finally falling into place, things start falling apart. With her job and her personal life hanging in the balance, Sue has to figure out what she wants and how she can make it all fit together.
