Happy Holidays! is the story of how Charlie Barnes went from failed writer to drug mule, and back again, without really trying.
Set during the holidays but far from a traditional Christmas story, Happy Holidays! is a fast-paced LGBTQ crime caper filled with dark humor, bad decisions, questionable judgment, and one writer's ongoing quest to avoid writing his next book, find true love, and stay out of jail - preferably all at the same time.
After a shocking event on Halloween night, Charlie suddenly finds himself back in the news for all the wrong reasons. On the bright side, he also meets Luke: a handsome cop with blue eyes, a perfect nose, beautiful butt cheeks, and - unbeknownst to Charlie - ulterior motives.
Unfortunately, Charlie's unexpected publicity inspires his publisher to move up the deadline for his long-overdue next novel. A novel he hasn't started due to a devastating case of writer's block. Or laziness. Honestly, it could go either way.
Now Charlie has one month to write a book, figure out whether Luke is the real deal, and decide what to do about the suitcase full of drugs he abandoned at the airport.
