HALCYON SUICIDE, the debut novel of author K.J. Duff, is the story of a man who has convinced himself he has no purpose. He holds an empty job title, has no talent or ambition, no long term goals or desires, no need for friends, family, fame or fortune, and absolutely no need for love. All he wants is to come home after his shift, cook a simple meal, watch a good movie, and get a good nights rest.
However, his daily routine is disrupted when a series of odd events puts Thaleia in his life, who manages to pry into his solitary haven, building an undeniable bond. A bond that has the power to break down the man's emotional guard and unleash his innermost demons.
