Jesus stated; "Therefore every scribe instructed concerning the kingdom of heaven is like a householder who brings out of his treasure things new and old." Matt 13:52 He also said; 'I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in me will do what I have been doing. He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.' John 14:12. The authors of this book, James Thompson and Stephen Court, document out of treasures both old and new that the words of Jesus are true for today, that those who believe will do even 'greater things!' Compiled out of the archives of the Salvation Army and its founder William Booth, Greater Things gives us historic and contemporary stories that are designed to help us understand that God's power to perform miracles is beyond limitations imposed by human beings. This book takes you on a miraculous 41-day journey. It begins with stories of present-day miracles followed by passages of Scripture, then brings you to your knees in worship of God, and continues onward with the ministry suggestions that will help you reach out to the unsaved. This book is timely for the age in which we live. We recommend that you read this book daily, one section at a time, to grasp the mind and purpose of the writers.
