Did your granny carry a purse, pocketbook, handbag or clutch bag , Did she carry a purse on different occasions whether to match a pair of shoes, an outfit or a hat? A different purse would be, carried in the summer, fall, spring or winter. I can remember the many bags carried by my grannies, mom, aunts, cousins and their many friends, some purses were, passed down from generation to generation. I still have a designer bag that was, carried by my Mom in the 1970s passed down to me to carry, then my sisters carried it for a while, and returned, to my Mom and now, I have it again.
