What parents and grandparents are saying: • Similar to Goodnight Moon, this one is sure to please the treasure seeking wee ones. It's a great bedtime book! • What a lovely story. Simple and sweet. Describes a boy getting ready for bed by putting away all his pirate toys and paraphernalia and next thing he knows he is having one last adventure with them through his imagination before he snuggles down for bed. Perfect for any child that loves pirates. Really nice illustrations with a lot of detail and cute little hidden things for kids to find and enjoy. • My pirate obsessed grandson LOVED this book! He has most of the pirate items mentioned, and after reading it, has told them "goodnight" just like the little boy in the story. He also loves pointing to different things on the pages as we read. I like how the stars increase and swirl around the pages as the character begins his imagination story before bed, then as the pirates resume shape as toys at the end. The pictures and colors are great, and the story keeps his interest. His six-year-old sister also likes the book. I would highly recommend.
