In the mood for a little political incorrectness? How could a conservative ever get elected governor of America's most liberal state? Is it possible to run the world's eighth largest economy from a barstool? Governor Jim West makes it look easy as he fixes the crooked cesspool that is California politics. Police chiefs weep, presidents threaten, union bosses quiver as Jim rides roughshod over all of them. It really looks like California might be back on the right track until a twenty-something, blond secret from his past emerges from the shadows. In this lightning-paced jaunt through all that ails the Golden State, Governor Jim and his secret handler rout the illegal aliens, slash the welfare system, lower taxes and even solve the traffic nightmare. All the while the liberals in the legislature are trying to crucify him. Can even the California National Guard protect him from assassination? Then it really gets personal when the Islamic terrorists decide to get even. Golden State Blues has something to offend just about everyone.
