The book is authored by a well-known exploration geologist and a formally educated, experienced writer who began his career in Mexico, working with Pemex and Texaco. The author, William Feathergail Wilson, holds one degree in creative writing and two degrees in geology from the University of Texas at Austin. He has more than 63 years of experience working as a frontier exploration geologist in more than 67 countries.
