Is your little one getting ready for their MRI scan? Are they feeling a little nervous?
Help your little one feel calm, confident, and ready for their MRI scan with this fun, reassuring, and interactive picture book!
An MRI scan can feel big and scary-but Getting Ready for My MRI Scan turns the experience into an adventure. This interactive picture book explains what to expect before, during, and after an MRI scan in simple, kid-friendly language with playful comparisons that make the process less intimidating.
Children will learn about:
• What the MRI machine looks and sounds like
• Why staying still is important (like a game of "freeze")
• Choices they may have-staying awake or taking a nap
• What to wear, what to bring, and who they'll meet at the hospital
• Comforting ways parents, guardians, and medical staff will help them feel safe
Interactive prompts invite kids to circle answers, draw, and write-helping them feel in control of their medical experience. Whether they're having an MRI of the brain, tummy, or arms and legs, this book builds confidence and eases fears by turning the unknown into something familiar.
Perfect for families, caregivers, and healthcare professionals, Getting Ready for My MRI Scan is more than just a story-it's a guide to comfort, courage, and care.
Give your child the right tool to face their MRI scan with bravery and a smile.
