In his book Genocide Revealed, Aleksandar Veljic exposes the chilling crimes of Hungarian Nazi forces in occupied northern Serbia during World War II, unraveling the concealed narrative of the January 1942 Novi Sad "Razzia" massacre where at least 12,763 civilians were brutally murdered, their bodies discarded into frozen rivers.
This meticulously researched account implicates Hungarian regent Miklos Horthy in heinous crimes against Serbs, Jews, Ukrainians, Romanians, Ruthenians, Slovaks, Russians, and Hungarian antifascists. Despite evidence, Horthy was not held accountable-his crimes were deliberately buried, facts altered. In fact, Horthy is still widely revered for his wartime contributions.
This revised edition, released on the 82nd anniversary of those horrific events, brings forth updated data on the victims of this genocide and stands as a poignant testament, capturing countless personal fates and stories and urging readers to confront the obscured history and remember the victims and the family members who survived to tell their stories.
