Gaslight

A domestic squabble ruins a relationship which might have been forever mutually beneficial, forcing Steve Novick, an undefined New York City artist, to find comfort somewhere else. He ventures further north and meets a new cast who embrace him and teach him that love can be found again, and unexpectedly from someone unlikely. Using a remembrance of Nazi war crimes and America's own rather strict past laws as an undertone representing oppression, especially when concerning minorities and people on the outskirts of society, this novel reminds us that it did happen-why exactly, is reconsidered with the juxtaposition of Bible stories.
