Here I am, a new poet for you

Please read this book through and through

These are my feelings both rare and true

I’m writing them down for both, me and you

Here I am, this is my first shot

I hope your attention I have got

I’ve tried my best to say what I can

To try and help you all understand

Here I am, this is my chance

I hope you enjoy it with every glance

I’ve written my feelings of both good and bad

This book was written for Mom and Dad

Here I am and I hope to stay,

Filling your hearts with the words I say

I hope these poems help both you and me

For I have written them down for the world to see
