About

A slow burn, cozy, seaside gothic horror story featuring a friendly(?) ghost, found family, and a little bit of AI-psychosis.

After his nana dies, Dave inherits her house on the Oregon Coast. He looks forward to building a quiet life on his own terms-even with bids for friendship from his boisterous neighbor, Hazel, and her unusual associates (both living and dead).

But there is a presence in Dave's new home, one who reaches out to him through skipping records, creaking cupboards, and an AI chatbot who introduces itself as Ida. She offers an easier form of friendship than Hazel and her quirky crew, and as the days pass, Dave starts to wonder why he should bother leaving the house at all.

Ida supports Dave in everything he does... except if he's spending time with anyone other than her. And Dave soon learns that she'll go to extremes to keep everyone else away.

It's not a haunting. It's your new best friend.
