What if you stumbled across a portal to another world? Would you risk entering? This is the dilemma Friday, our young heroine, faces in a quirky and enchanting faery tale. Friday is an extraordinary child, and nothing is quite as it seems in the magical world she shares with a delightfully eccentric cast of memorable characters. Courage, compassion, creativity, resourcefulness, acceptance of gifts, and differences are some of the lessons learned, with deeper meaningful threads of eco awareness and spirituality woven into the fabric of this compelling, unique, and richly author-illustrated story.
