Well, not exactly nothing. The truth is, she wants everything to do with the hot bookstore owner, but she believes that, due to his history with Anne, there is no hope for their relationship beyond friendship.Gabe is instantly smitten with the beautiful McCullough cousin, but because of his past with her sister, she declines his dinner invitation. Surprising both Allie and himself, he suggests that since she won't date him, they could just sleep together. Despite their both being shocked by his suggestion, somehow they end up spending the day together . . . as well as the night. Now Gabe's challenge is how to convince Allie that despite his owning a bookstore in the city, over two hours away from her beloved village, and despite his past with her sister, they do have a future together.
