Surely you'd never wish for anything more...right? Tanique Adams began writing from a young age, but not without parental motivation. Her mother insisted that she read a book every week and write a summary about what she read without fail. What started as a reluctant activity, soon became a discovered passion. Tanique's imagination soared, and by middle school, she was having her stories featured in her literature classes. From that point on, writing became a refuge, and reading became second nature. She took inspiration from the hundreds of books she read, and began to craft her own stories. As a Bisexual Black Woman, Tanique is an advocate for the representation of all voices, especially those in marginalized communities. Therefore Tanique doesn't hesitate to feature diverse themes and characters in her work. As a romantic, she explores different representations of love. Tanique considers herself a creator of worlds, and she aspires to share them with all who care to visit them. When Tanique isn't writing, you can find her watching anime, playing games or exploring technology.
