"Flowing Like A River, Raging Like A Flood," is the first book of a compound literary work sharing poetic expressions during a time period of awakening. During multiple phases of its writing, levels of heightened awareness about personal issues and societal concerns are communicated through free verse, extended metaphors, wordplays and prose poetry. Sometimes the words flow, other times they rage.
