About
Marceline has rocketed to pop stardom practically overnight. So when she retreats to her hometown for a calm Christmas, she's loath to come face-to-face with her high-school nemesis Lucas. Unless he could become her muse?
When Marceline went to Juilliard to study violin, she didn't expect to become a star-and definitely not within 16 months of being discovered by one of the world's biggest pop producers during a composition workshop. After a whirlwind sold-out tour, she's looking forward to a quiet Christmas at home-and a chance to work through the creative block of her second album-but all bets are off from the moment she's accosted by fans in the TSA line. Now, she faces her small-town return with dread. And that's before she sees that her favorite coffeehouse-the place where she played her very first (unpaid) gigs-has gotten a Copenhagen-y makeover and a "pastry program" courtesy of its new owner: Lucas, the (reformed?) bad boy she worshipped from afar as a teenager.
