If you are looking for a refreshingly unique space fantasy with a twist of humour and a splash of romance, then this book is for you.Atrana is a smart, sassy private paramedic and fist-for-hire, renowned for using her mouth as a weapon. She dwells in a hidden rescue base deep in the mountains of Planet Asvellah, where the only ones who can contact her pay a high price first. But her world changes when a routine rescued client turns out to be a dark Royal in exile. Prince of a planet in political upheaval, Achisar Vann takes refuge with Atrana and her friends, and quickly learns that his mischievous charms don't work on this bad-ass mercenary. After a perilous brush with death, however, Atrana realises she may need Vann's skills to continue to do her job properly. But by then it may be too late…Meanwhile, Vann's planet is firmly in the grips of his tyrannical sister. His beloved people are suffering, the treasury is empty, and he may be forced to sacrifice his safety in order to help…Will Atrana's walls crumble? Will she let the dark Prince in, even just for a bit of fun? Will they be too late to save what's left of his kingdom? If spaceships, droids, arse-kicking and witty comebacks are your thing, you WILL enjoy this book. When I was 13 years old, instead of doing my school work, I invented a world... a fantasy of spaceships, robots, bad guys and quirky characters. My works appeal to a broad range of readers from young adult to octogenarians. If you love all things Marvel, Voltron and Star Wars (with a splash of romance and a heap of adventure), you will enjoy my stories.Based in a solar system on the other side of the Milky Way Galaxy, my novels feature arse-kicking, no-nonsense female protagonists who love adventure and aren't afraid to get their knuckles bruised. I hope you feel as much connection to them as I did when writing.I live in Auckland, New Zealand with my husband, two daughters, a cat, a bunch of fish and three budgies.
