How many times have you been in a real life situation and had someone tell you, God will not put more on you than you can handle? These are not just words; this is a promise that is in God’s Word, a promise from the creator of the entire universe, a promise from God who sent His Son to die for our sins so that we could have a real relationship with Him, a faithful and merciful Father who will not give us more than we can endure.
Only through faith, fasting, and the love of God can we endure life-altering events such as sicknesses of both parents. Also holding them as God reaches down to bring your Momma to Heaven and then two weeks later holding your Daddy as again God reaches down and brings him home to Him and Momma. Parents dying in the arms of their daughter can only be endured by faith and that is Gods awesome mercy and amazing grace. And, in that is the promise of God saying You can handle this.

Only a loving and merciful Father can bring you through these and all things in life. It is a promise that He will not let us go through anything without Him and His helper, the Holy Spirit, as well as the sacrifice and ever-present love of His Son, Jesus. It’s a promise that will not change and will last forever through in any situation. Life is not easy; Jesus even told us that. Even so, we are not alone, ever. We have to trust in the promises of God. He will help us, love us, and guide us; He will not give us more than we can endure. God doesn’t break His promises, and that’s a promise too.
